Bryce Hansen, CPA

Mr. Hansen founded Vensight Consulting, PLLC, in 2009, a firm focused on helping startup and growing companies achieve financial success through lower taxes, a better understanding of their business financial positions, and higher profitability. Prior to Vensight Consulting, Mr. Hansen worked for the Utah Fund of Funds, a quasi-governmental organization that invests in venture capital and other private equity groups. Mr. Hansen has worked as an auditor for a Salt Lake-based regional accounting firm, Wisan Smith Racker & Prescott, LLP, and as a finance analyst for Convergys Corporation, a $2.7 billion client relations firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Utah and is a Level 2 candidate for the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mr. Hansen received his Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of accounting degrees from Weber State University.

He is married to Katherine N. Hansen and has a son, Kimball, age 1. He resides with his family in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Vensight CFO Services is a boutique CPA Firm registered in the State of Utah that focuses on part-time accounting and consulting services for startup and early-stage technology companies. Prior to founding Vensight CFO Services, Mr. Hansen worked for the Utah Fund of Funds, a quasi-governmental organization that invests in venture capital and other private equity groups. While at the Fund of Funds, Mr. Hansen analyzed over 160 investment pitches from private equity groups and entrepreneurs.

In October 2009, Mr. Hansen founded Startup University™, a content-rich educational seminar series dedicated to helping businesses owners, entrepreneurs, and would-be-entrepreneurs gain insight and tools that they can apply to their businesses. Topics range from tax, finance and accounting, to law, business management and funding.

Mr. Hansen has previously worked as an auditor for a Salt Lake-based regional accounting firm and as a financial analyst for a large multinational corporation. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Utah and has passed the first of three exams for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Mr. Hansen received his Bachelor and Master of accounting degrees from Weber State University.

In addition to his work at Vensight CFO Services and running the Startup University™ Seminar Series, Mr. Hansen recently served as a board member and treasurer for a local non-profit chamber of commerce.
